Before You Book A Call-Out
A surprising number of "broken remote" calls turn out to be a flat battery or a remote that's simply lost its connection to the receiver. Worth trying a fresh battery first. If that doesn't fix it, our technicians can reprogram or replace the remote on site, and check whether the receiver itself needs attention.
Keeping A Spare On Hand
Most opener systems support several remotes at once, so it's worth having a spare programmed and tucked in the glovebox or given to a family member. If your only remote ever goes missing, losing garage access is more of a hassle than losing house keys, and reprogramming is a lot faster than waiting on a locksmith. We can set up extra remotes at the same time as any other call-out, or as a quick standalone visit.
